• Segment details such as trips, meetups, events, workshops, join status, participants, ratings, uploaded media, and calendar-related information.
• Chat and safety information including one-to-one chats, segment group chats, message voting, appeals, reports, and admin decisions.
• Commercial information such as coins, paid plans, featured placement, profile handle requests, partner plans, service payments, and manual payment references.
• Technical information such as IP-based country/city detection, device/app identifiers, error reports, logs, and health-check signals.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, show relevant nearby segments, enable joining and chat, process coins or payments, manage partner/vendor support, detect unsafe behavior, prevent fraud, send alerts, run admin controls, improve reliability, and provide support.

Sharing and visibility

Public profile and segment information may be visible to other CouchMeet members. Chat is visible to relevant one-to-one participants or joined segment members. Partner leads are shared only with eligible partners according to admin-controlled rules. We do not sell personal data.

Your choices

You can update your profile, manage uploads, request support, use available privacy/safety controls, and contact CouchMeet for account or data requests. Some information must be retained for security, payment, legal, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Security and admin access

CouchMeet uses role-based admin access, OTP/security checks, controlled provider keys, health monitoring, and error reporting. Admins may override grants, feature access, pricing, user status, partner approval, profile handles, and safety decisions where required.
