The Rating system allows members to share information about their interactions with other members, enabling the community to make more informed decisions.
CouchMembers who have hosted Trip/Meetup or Joined with other members are permitted to submit private feedback in Remarks Section (to CouchMeet) and public Rating for 30 days after the Trip/Event/Meet-up/Workshop etc..
Members must have a join request with the “Yes” “Maybe” or “Confirmed” status in order to leave a Rating.
Rating should be accurate and relevant to the experience with the recipient. Any activities that undermine the integrity of the Rating System are a violation of CouchMeet’s policies and Terms of Use.
CouchMeet does not generally interfere with Rating content left by members. In extremely rare circumstances, CouchMeet may censor, temporarily hide, or remove Rating content if it violates our Rating Guidelines.
A Rating may be censored, temporarily hidden, or removed in the following cases:
Note: When contacting the Trust and Safety Team, the reporter should provide the false statement, and details of the exact location of the evidence within the CouchMeet website.
Note: For example, left from a blank profile that was created only in order to leave the Rating.
If you’ve received a Rating that falls under the above cases, please contact the Trust and Safety Team. Please include a link to your profile, the name of the member whose Rating you are disputing, and the exact guideline(s) you believe this Rating violates.
CouchMeet is generally unable to verify the accuracy of Rating describing offline interactions, and only act when a violation of this this policy has occurred.
CouchMeet members can only report Rating left on their own profile.
Note: Additionally, CouchMeet staff reserves the right to remove any Rating that undermines the integrity of the Rating System.
